Yibin 70 billion to build an integrated energy base

According to the strategic goal of building “West-to-East Power Transmission” and “West-to-West Power”, Sichuan’s largest coal production base, the world’s largest R&D and production base for nuclear fuel and fuel components, and the development goal of a national transition hub for new energy strategies in the Indian Ocean. In the first quarter of this year, Yibin’s comprehensive energy industry realized an added value of 3.775 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 34.37%.

Yibin City is an important energy mineral resource rich region in the province and an important energy and raw material production base for the comprehensive development of national hydropower, thermal power, and nuclear power. The city has proven coal reserves of 5.368 billion tons, accounting for 35.79% of the province's reserves; natural gas reserves of about 60 billion cubic meters, coalbed methane resources of 141.7 billion cubic meters, shale gas reserves of more than 2 trillion cubic meters; can develop water It has a capacity of 4,082,000 kilowatts; nuclear fuel assemblies have unique advantages in the country.
