There are generally two calibration lines on the chassis of the S&G combination lock. One in the 12 o'clock direction is used to open the password lock, and one in the 11 o'clock direction is used to change the password.
During the unlocking process, keep the line of sight perpendicular to the dial and the chassis so that the digital you selected is calibrated under the marking line. Even small deviations during the dialing process need to start all over again.
1. Unlock: (take password combination 10-20-30-40 as an example)
(1) Turn the dial to the right (clockwise) five times and stop when the first number (10) of the cipher group is aligned with the unlock line for the fifth time.
(2) Turn the dial to the left (counterclockwise) four times and stop when the second number (20) of the cipher group is aligned with the unlock line for the fourth time.
(3) Turn the dial three times to the right (clockwise) to stop when the third digit (30) of the cipher group is aligned with the unlock line for the third time.
(4) Turn the dial to the left (counterclockwise) two times and stop when the fourth number (40) of the cipher group is aligned with the unlock line for the second time.
(5) Turn the dial to the right to feel some resistance when the digital 5 reaches the unlock line. Continue to turn the dial to stop when it reaches 95. The password lock is turned on, then follow the necessary procedures to open the security door.
note:
(1) The factory setting of the S&G6500 password lock is turned on. Turn five turns to the left to stop at 50. Turn right to retract the lock tongue.
(2) The above is the way to open the right hand lock. When the left hand lock is turned on, the 1-4 steps and the right hand are behind. Turn the dial to the left to retract the lock tongue and stop near the digital 25.
(3) The correctly installed lock is initially 50 open and 95 is stopped. It is recommended that the installation can be replaced after the installation check is completed.
2. locking:
Right hand lock Turn the dial to the left for at least 5 turns. (Left hand lock turns the dial to the right at least 5 turns)
3. Escape:
First determine the number of new passwords. Note that the last digit cannot use a number between 0 and 20 (for example, 28-34-76-12). For security reasons, do not use numbers that are 0 or 5 at the end and combinations that increase or decrease in turn. For example, the combination of passwords 54-38-72-27 is better than 35-50-75-80.
The escape method is as follows:
(1) Remove the screw, move the back cover toward the bolt and open it. Press the unlock: 1 to 4 steps to rotate the dial digitally to the escape line and stop at the last number of the combination.
(2) Keep the last password of the dial under the escape line, insert the escape key in the lock hole after the lock, until the side pillar of the key completely enters the lock and stops. Note: Right hand and left hand locks have their own escape holes.
(3) Turn the key a quarter turn to the left. Stop the escape key in this position, use the escape line shuttle to unlock 1 to 4 steps, dial in the number of new passwords you have determined.
(4) Keep the last number of the dial facing the escape line, turn the escape key to the right, and pull it out after completion. The new password is set. (The escape of the lock initial state... Take the right-hand lock as an example. Turn the dial counterclockwise five times and align the number 50 on the dial with the escape line, then follow the steps to open the cover and escape.)
Note: Please try at least 3 new passwords before you close the library door.

(1) Rotate the dial gently and smoothly, and do not jerk.
(2) Do not disassemble the lock body. Do not pull the lock lever and the linkage gear. A keyway strip between the linkage gear and the drive cam. The keyway strip is voided as soon as it is removed. The relative position between the linkage gears cannot be changed, and the number of password changes once the position changes.
