Research and Analysis on Improving the Reliability of Chemical System in Chemical Enterprises

By the early 1990s, the substations of chemical companies built in the 50s and 60s had reached the peak of major renovations. In order to promote the application of vacuum circuit breakers and the laying of overhead cables and the use of high-voltage busway technology for large-capacity distribution lines at short distances, a chemical enterprise switch and cable application technology exchange conference was held in Zhangjiajie in May 1995. The conference invited Gu Nihong, director of the Electric Power Research Institute of the Ministry of Electric Power, to give a lecture on the status quo and development of circuit breakers for 35KV and below. Deng Changsheng, senior engineer at Shanghai Circuit Research Institute, gave a lecture on cable structure and accessories. Jihua and other organizations introduced the experience of transforming old transformer substations. Dahua introduced the laying of cables and the use of high-voltage busway technology.

In order to promote the technical advancement of the electrical industry in the soda ash industry in China, the National Soda Industry Electrical Technology Exchange Conference was held in Dalian in August 1995 and in Yangzhou, Jiangsu in April 2002. The meeting focused on the exchange of corrosion protection, moisture protection and dust prevention of electrical equipment in the alkali industry and the transformation of electrical equipment of the lime kiln loading system. It was confirmed that low-voltage vacuum contactors were used as power switches of lime kiln and other frequent starting equipments. .

In order to promote the work of insulation reform of high-voltage switchgear in all working conditions and the application of heat-shrinkable materials in substation insulation protection, an electrical technology exchange meeting was held in Guilin in January 1996. Tianjin Boan Electric Insulation Material Technology Development Co., Ltd. Changchun Heat Shrinking Materials Co., Ltd. introduced the two technologies. Chemical companies have long been affected by insulation accidents and these two technologies have been welcomed by delegates.

In order to promote the exchange of large-scale fertilizer plant electrical technology in China, a national large-scale synthetic ammonia plant electrical technology exchange meeting was held in Dalian in September 1997. The conference focused on the introduction of localization of electrical equipment and the implementation of maintenance procedures and other aspects. According to the current level of China's electrical manufacturing industry, the meeting proposed that domestically-made switchgears can technically meet the requirements for the introduction of chemical fertilizers. If a large-scale chemical plant is introduced, the electrical equipment of the substation can be completely domesticated.

In order to improve the reliability of power supply for the power system of the chemical industry, a technical seminar on the capacitance current tracking compensation device for the power supply system was held in Zhuhai, Guangdong in December 1997. Zhuhai Jinhong Electric Company was invited to introduce the patent technology of Shanghai Jiaoda University: the automatic tracking compensation technology for the arc suppression coil. More than 90% of enterprises participating in the conference can use this technology to reduce the capacitive current of the power supply system, reduce the over-voltage level of the system, and increase the reliability of the power supply of the factory.
