Industrial producer price changes in July
In July 2011, the ex-factory price of industrial producers nationwide was unchanged from the previous month, up 7.5% from the same month last year. The purchase price of industrial producers rose by 0.1% from the previous month and by 11.0% from the same month last year. The ex-factory price of production materials was flat, with the mining industry falling 0.3% and the raw materials and processing industries at the same level. The ex-factory price of living materials rose by 0.2% month-on-month, among which, food prices rose by 0.5%, clothing prices rose by 0.2%, general commodity prices rose by 0.2%, and durable consumer goods prices remained flat. The ex-factory price of production materials rose by 8.4% year-on-year. Among them, the price of mining industry rose by 18.1%, the price of raw material industry rose by 12.1%, and the price of processing industry rose by 5.8%. The ex-factory price of living materials rose by 4.8% year-on-year, among which, food prices rose by 8.6%, clothing prices rose by 4.5%, general commodity prices rose by 4.5%, and consumer durables prices fell by 0.5%. Among the industrial producers' purchase price, the price of non-ferrous metal materials rose by 1.3%, the price of fuel-powered products fell by 0.5%, the price of ferrous materials was unchanged from the previous month, and the price of chemical raw materials fell by 0.1%. Among the year-on-year prices of industrial producers, the price of non-ferrous metal materials rose by 18.9%, the price of fuel-powered products rose by 12.6%, the price of ferrous metal materials rose by 10.2%, and the price of chemical raw materials rose by 13.3%. Changes in consumer prices in July In July 2011, the national consumer price level rose by 6.5% year-on-year. Among them, the price of clothing rose by 2.5%, and the price of shoes rose by 0.6%. The price of household equipment and maintenance services rose by 2.7% year-on-year. The price of health care and personal products rose by 3.6% year-on-year. In addition, tobacco and alcohol, household equipment and maintenance services, health care and personal products, and residences rose by 0.2%, 0.2%, 0.3%, and 0.1%, respectively, while clothing prices fell by 0.6%, while transportation and communications prices were flat.
