The mobile bridge type is the structure of the most commonly used three-coordinate measuring instrument. The shaft is the main shaft moving in the vertical direction, and the carriage guiding the main shaft moves along the horizontal beam. The horizontal beam is perpendicular to the shaft and supported by the two pillars at both ends. The beam and the struts form a "bridge" that moves in the axial direction along two guide channels that are perpendicular and axial in the horizontal plane. Since both ends of the beam are supported by the struts, the minimum deflection is obtained and the precision is higher than that of the cantilever type.

2. Bed type bridge type

In the bed type, the shaft moves in the vertical direction, the carriage guides the main shaft to move along the beam of the vertical axis, and the beam moves in the axial direction along the two horizontal guides, the guide rail is located on the upper surface of the pillar, and the pillar is fixed On the mechanical body. This type is the same as the mobile bridge type, the ends of the beam are supported, so the deflection of the beam is minimal. This type has better accuracy than the cantilever type, because only the beam moves in the axial direction, so the inertia is smaller than when all the bridges are moved, and it is easier to manually operate than the moving bridge type.

3. Column type bridge type

(Gantry type)

Column type bridge type, when compared with the bed type bridge type, the column type bridge type is directly fixed on the floor, also called the door type, which has larger and better rigidity than the bed type bridge type, and most of them are used in comparison. Large three-coordinate measuring instrument. Each axis is driven by a motor and has a wide measuring range. The operator can work in the bridge.

4. Fixed bridge type

(Fixed bridge type)

In the fixed bridge type, the shaft moves in the vertical direction, and the carriage guides the main shaft to move in the direction of the horizontal beam along the vertical axis. The bridge (pillar) is fixed to the machine body, and the measuring table moves in the axial direction along the guide rail of the horizontal plane and is perpendicular to the sum axis. Each axis is driven by a motor to ensure positional accuracy. This model is not suitable for manual operation.

5. L-shaped bridge type

(L-Shaped bridge type)

L-shaped bridge type, this design is to change the bridge with minimal inertia when the shaft moves. Compared with the mobile bridge type, the moving component has less inertia, so the operation is easier, but the rigidity is poor.

6. Axis movement cantilever type

(Fixed table cantilever arm type)

The shaft moves the cantilever type, the shaft moves the vertical direction of the main shaft, and the horizontal guide cantilever beam of the main shaft guide shaft moves along the vertical axis in the axial direction, and the cantilever beam moves in the axial direction along the guide groove in the horizontal plane, and is perpendicular to the shaft And the axis. This type is open on three sides, easy to assemble and disassemble the workpiece, and the workpiece can extend out of the table to accommodate larger workpieces, but the cantilever will cause low precision. This type is very popular in the early days and is not universal now.
