Green home is everyone's dream. How far is it from the green home? The results of an up-to-date public interest survey are not optimistic. Surveys show that although Chinese consumers have urgent needs for green and environmentally friendly home improvement products and services, relevant perceptions are generally one-sided. Excessive harmful gases in the air, improper lighting arrangements cause visual impairment, and water quality pollution is the most concerned health hazards of home improvement. The survey also found that Chinese consumers urgently need to learn more about the basics of green home improvement, and the awareness of consumers in large and medium-sized cities has only reached the national average. The popularity of home improvement energy-saving knowledge among Chinese consumers is relatively highest, but for some daily simple energy-saving measures and methods for purchasing energy-saving products, consumer awareness is not sufficient.
